One leaf, one taste!...

Tea varieties have their personality and distinct flavour. Take full advantage of the delicacy and aroma of your favourite tea.

Be an expert in the art of preparing your tea.

So you can get the most pleasure out of a good tea, we suggest you a ritual, step by step, to prepare your tea:

  • The secret of a good tea is also in the water. We recommend you to use filtered or bottled water.
  • Fill a coffee maker with clean cold water and heat till it boils, unless you are making green or white tea. In this case, let the water boil for a very short time, to prevent “cooking” the delicate tea leaves.
  • Use a teaspoon as a measure, one per cup, unless you want to establish your own measure, so that you can drink  it weaker or stronger.
  • Place the heated water over the tea and let it infuse to taste. Different teas have different infusion times but never let it rest for too long, otherwise it can be too bitter.
  • Use a strainer for the leaves, preferably acrylic and not metallic, which changes the drink flavour.
  • Pour the tea into a cup and let it rest for a while. Enjoy the colours, the complexity and the character. This is drinking tea!

Take into account
  • Use an appropriate tool to put the tea leaves in the teapot, avoid touching them with your hands.
  • Preheat the cup with warm water to avoid tea from cooling down quickly.
  • Use preferably a china teapot for each type of tea. To wash, don’t use detergent or sponge. Just rinse it with cold water at let it dry naturally.
  • Keep your tea in an airtight container, in a fresh and dry place, protected from light and odours.
  • If you want to prepare an iced tea, let it cool down to room temperature and pour it with ice cubes. Ideal to drink in hot summer days and nights.

This is everything you need to know for a perfect ritual! And, if you are surrounded by family and friends, the pleasure will be complete. It’s elegant and intimate. It’s good for both body and soul!
